Mira Loew

Mira was born in Vienna, lives and works in London since 2006.
She studied photography and audio-visual media at the Federal Graphic Institute of Higher Learning in Vienna.
In 2009 she graduated in Fashion Photography at the London College of Fashion. She has learned from renowned artists such as Andreas H. Bitesnich and VALIE EXPORT.

Her moving-image work ranges from video art and short films to commissions such as music videos and fashion films. She experiments with stop-frame animation and time-lapes extensively although her photography background repeatedly draws her to classic cinematography.

Recent exhibitions and film screenings include “Capsuel” at Richard Young
Gallery in London, “Salon Video Art Prize Exhibition” MRT Space at London´s Vyner street, Loop Film Festival in Barcelona and the 10Festival for Fashion and Photography Vienna.
